Our Story
From One “Yes” to a Growing Movement
Journey to Purity® began with a personal decision to say yes to God.
In 2011, our founder, Erica N. Benjamin, surrendered her relationships, sexuality, and future to God. What began as her personal pursuit of purity soon revealed something much bigger: women needed a safe place to grow in Christ without shame, isolation, or pretending.
In 2014, nine women gathered for the first Journey to Purity® call.
Today, that small beginning has grown into a global digital discipleship movement equipping women to pursue Christ with their whole lives—and helping churches and leaders disciple women to do the same.
What began with one woman’s yes is becoming a movement of women saying yes to God together.
