Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant, and inspired Word of God. The Word of God is the foundation upon which this ministry operates and is the basis for which this ministry is governed. Its content was preserved by God, and it is the final authority in all matters of doctrine and faith above all human authority; and is the supreme standard by which all human conduct will be judged. (Psalm 119:160; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21) 

We believe that there is one eternal, almighty and perfect God existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. (Deuteronomy. 6:4; Isaiah 45:5; I John 5:7) 

We believe in the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, and in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood. We believe in His bodily resurrection and His return in power and glory. (John 1:1-3, 14; Matthew  1:23; Titus 2:11-14; Matthew 28:5-6; Revelation 1:5-7) 

We believe that all men are lost sinners and need to be saved and that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans  3:23; Romans 5:12) 

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is wholly necessary. (John 3:3-5; Titus 3:3-7) 

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whereby the gifts and operation of the Spirit become active in the church and in the life of believers. (I Corinthians 12:1-11; Acts 13:2; Acts 20:28; John  16:13-14) 

We believe in water baptism by immersion and in taking communion. These ordinances are commanded of all believers, not for salvation, but an act of obedience and faith after salvation. (Acts 8:35-38; I Corinthians  11:24-26) 

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto eternal life and they that are lost unto eternal damnation. (John 5:28-29; Daniel 12:13; I Corinthians 15:20) 

We believe in the Biblical definition of marriage and its laws concerning human sexuality. We believe God created every person in His image as male and female, which are two distinct, complementary genders, and rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. According to the Bible, marriage and its guiding principles were created and given to humanity by God as a part of His original creation as a covenant relationship established by mutual vows exchanged exclusively between one man and one woman. We believe God intends for sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to one another. (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:18-24; Matthew  19:4-5; Leviticus 20:13; I Corinthians 6:9-10, 18-20) 

We believe in the sanctity of human life, even in the womb of the mother. The Bible does not specifically mention the word abortion, but it does speak of unborn children. These Biblical statements refer to the unborn as persons; therefore, abortion is killing a person. (Psalm  139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5; Genesis 9:6)
